G*d is a Woman won Best Production of 2023 for the Straits Times Life! Theatre Awards. I had the greatest honour of working on the show as a Wardrobe Assistant/Dresser, alongside Costume Designer, Theresa Chan. This show had onstage costume changes and I had to dress up and go onstage with costumes to change the actors. There were also super quick costume changes backstage. It was so tiring but it was so fun. Costume changes were so quick that audience members kept asking how we did it backstage that the Wild Rice team came backstage on the last day to film some of the costume changes. I certainly learnt to have a huge sense of urgency during this show. It was really nerve wracking at times, but it was always so thrilling for me to get the actors dressed on time.
